  • Set schedule, agenda for board meetings
  • Recruit, nominate and advise board members and officers
  • Represent league with District 4 + other outside constituencies
  • Develop, update annual league calendar, and ensure timelines are being followed
  • Pursue policies to expand league participation
  • Along with VP Softball and player agent, select post season managers
  • Oversee postseason team selection


  • Prepare annual budget for board approval
  • Recommend participation fee structure for board approval
  • Manage banking, accounts payable and receivables, and monthly financial reporting to board
  • Prepare and submit any required financial documents to Little League, Inc.


  • Ensure Charter, league information, and other documents submitted to Little League Inc.
  • Maintain minutes and notes for all board meetings; send to board following each meeting
  • Maintain database of key league documents
  • Ensure proper execution of annual meeting, board elections

VP Softball

  • Ensure effective fielding of teams at all levels - TB through juniors
  • With President, coordinate interlock partnerships with other leagues
  • Coordinate pre-season coaches' clinic
  • Assist registrar with recruiting managers, as needed
  • Assist player agent with effective execution of AAA and Majors try outs
  • Oversee, along with Player Agent, AAA and Majors drafts
  • Along with player agent, promote postseason participation
  • Along with President, select post season managers
  • Participate in postseason team selection
  • Serve as or designate a Fall Ball D4 liaison


  • Serve as an advocate for interests of all players
  • Oversee and coordinate pre-draft AAA and Majors player try outs
  • Coordinate team drafts and team selections: Spring, Summer and Fall seasons
  • Coordinate, along with VP Softball, AAA and Majors drafts
  • Oversee, along with President, post season team selection


  • Oversee process of player registration: Spring, Summer and Fall baseball
  • Coordinate with Communications/Promotions coordinator player registration
  • Ensure proper team formation at TB, A and AA levels
  • Ensure rosters uploaded to Little League, Inc.
  • Coordinate with Treasurer on management of account receivables
  • Make recommendations to board for financial aid


  • Serve as THPRD and Alpenrose facilities liaison
  • Develop practice and game schedules for all levels
  • Serve as liaison with league/D4 umpires


  • Oversee management of equipment and storage shed
  • Manage distribution and return of all equipment, uniforms (regular, post and Fall ball)
  • Make recommendations to board for purchase of equipment and uniforms
  • Execute pre-season purchase of new equipment and uniforms
  • Ensure SBGLL brand is universally applied and maintained on all uniforms and equipment
  • Ensure all SBGLL fields have on-site maintenance equipment


  • Coordinate preparation and submission of annual safety report to Little League
  • Ensure that all managers and coaches have completed appropriate safety trainings/seminars
  • Ensure that all managers and coaches have completed and pass background checks
  • Ensure that all SBGLL fields have appropriate, on-site, first aid equipment


  • Manage league website and all outbound communications to league managers, coaches and families
  • Ensure that SBGLL website is current with information and tools for managers, coaches, parents
  • Coordinate promotion of SBGLL registration (schools, signage, emails, social media, events, other)
  • Ensure SBGLL brand and logo is universally applied and maintained on uniforms, materials etc.
  • Manage any promotions or sale of SBGLL branded clothing or other items


  • Secure and coordinate all corporate and personal contributions to SBGLL - cash and in-kind


  • Coordinate Opening Day and Alpenrose Day activities
  • Coordinate recruitment of volunteers for Alpenrose activities: Friday concessions, Storybook Lane
  • Coordinate use of SBGLL public address systems for non Alpenrose games
  • Initiate ideas and events to enhance the overall game experience for kids and families
